New Communities

While Rathfarnham has been a desirable place to live for at least 200 years, there has been remarkable population growth in the area within the past 50 years.

The growth of population in the Rathfarnham area has resulted in the growth of new communities. Evidence of this can be seen in the development and growth of schools, churches, community facilities, etc. For example, this growth is mirrored in the Catholic parish system.
